Surreal Landscape

This is one of my favourite shots I've ever taken. This was shot at around Midday on a very bright and sunny day. I captured this by loweing my ISO setting, using a small aperture and a fast shutter speed. I love the surreal result it produced.

I really like the dark tones, but I think the lens flare is a bit overpowering.

The sand looks like solidified larva, is that wales i see? or the wirral? :P
