Cute pics - I love cats

I'll try to give some constructive crits - I'm not that good at it, but I'll give it a try - hope it helps

#1 is very small, but it looks a bit like if you have photographed it through a mirror or had some dirt on your lense (or something else) - there's that horizontal line going from the chin to the paw that is a bit distracting.

#2 works very well for me, nice compostition

#3 I love the idea for the composition, but it's a bit unfortunate that the cat's forehead melts with the dark vertical line in the background. Also, the contrast is a bit low. I'm not a big fan of texts in images most of the times either, but that's a matter of taste.

#4 is my favourite of these, I think. I really like the color scheme and the communication between human and animal here. Nicely captured! Again the vertical line distracts a bit of the face (this time the girl's face). Maybe the crop coud have been a bit different, too - a bit less of the white floor. But it really is a cute pic.

Keep posting!

yeah now that i can shoot in raw, i find that i can under expose by a stop or two and adjust it later in "Aperture" so as to reduce the blow-outs.

Kind of funny how this thread is called "meow" and I'm posting a picture of a pigeon...

I think this pigeon is a tad bit sassy haha

That's because the pigeon is secretly a cat...

Nice photo, has a funny/quirky feel. Highlights on the pigeon feel a bit bright though.

From all your horse photo's, I like the last one best, he looks so sad.

The cat in your last photo, is too dark, the window and the sunbeams and really nice captured, but at the cost of the cat itsself. I would try to lighten the cat a bit.
The composition is great by the way
