Snake's romp in the grass

So i took my snake out to romp in the grass for some photography. She was probably slightly confused by the grass seeing as she's a desert snake, but she seemed to enjoy her time out there. A random woman passing by on her walk noticed the snake and remaked "ewwwww'. Meanie.

Her name is Hugs, and she's a Mexican Rosy Boa.

I wouldnt like this shot at all really if not for her tongue being in it. Snake's tongues are so hard to capture.









I desaturated the colours a bit here to give her more of a camo feel.

The first and the last one really got me!
the last one that the snake look at you real is cool.
you desaturated the colors, i think it did help.
