Pretty nice photo. May want to work on the contrast a bit though.

I really like this one

Kinda Blurry but I think it has some interesting features. Hope you like. Please crits are very welcome. The only way for me to expand is to know what others think.

Re post of the flower. changed the cropping and started from scratch on the entire piece.

Today is another wonderful day

This is a piece of graffiti i found. Though not my style I kind of liked the saturation of the paint. And thank you Purple Rose for the comments. the original flower piece I posted was done with Photomatix. I kinda felt the results were less than pleasing. so I went back to PS and felt like I got a much better result. Now I am hoping to get into some B/W photos next week. But Here is today.

Today seems like I have been here before

Thanks Purplerose. I'm production lead for a 4 color print shop. My job exactly is Lead press operator, Graphic artist and tech. My job is really based on the tech side of graphic arts. I think that is why my photos right look kinda plain. I'm really just trying to figure out all the settings in my new DSLR. But everyday the camera seems to take better photos. Now I just need to start seeing the photos I want to take. Anyways here is today, I was going to go into B/W this weekend but the mountains were alive with color.

Little Mountain Plant

Here is today. I found this little plant by a waterfall. There is really no post processing the clouds in the sky just made all the colors so vivid and saturated. Still not happy with the manual focus though. Maybe I should try out the auto focus for a while.

I enjoy the tall industrial shot. That sort of atmosphere always has great stuff waiting to be caught on camera

Too Busy Working

Thanks Hookswords. It's funny I really like the look of industrial buildings. And the day after I took the photo I was reading some photo mag and stumbled apon an article. It was about a photographer that also liked industrial buildings. But as he was taking his photos he encountered a problem. Security approched him and detained him till the police arrived. Who knew in america it is against the law to photograph such facilities. I guess with some explaining the police finally saw his creative intentions.

I have been very busy trying to finish up a project. But I thought I would throw one down today. Found this plant by a little stream all by itself. I really like how the light created a sense of depth to the image. Still not happy with focus.

I'm lazy

These are some new photos from the past month or so. I still have some more to upload. And now that I have a connection at my place this should be easier. Thanks everyone for the comments they are very much appreciated. I hope everyone likes these and I should have alot more very soon. It has been a long month with a ton of historic events happening in my own back yard. Now I am going skiing. Life is good.

I was hioping for a reply not an advertisement

I got to work this morning excited about someone posting a reply on my forum. Hoping it would be a nice critique or something of value. But after reading the first three words my excitement fell apart. SOMEONE POSTED CRAP. BOO remember kids just say no to SPAM!

Thought I would try a little product photography

I am going to give this a shot. I wish I had a better lighting set up. This one is just two six dollar lamps with daylight bulbs. All photos color managed in Bridge. I think this makes things very much easier because of the batch processing. And I like the non destructive features making it possible to make changes to any of the photos very quickly. I would like to get more into product photography as a way to bring more diverse design options to the client. And to help along the way as far as being able to complete my designs the way that I envision them without having to work with customer supplied artwork. So here we go. I am going to post more very soon as I am going to try and study this for a while. Thanks and all comments welcome. Also thanks for removing the SPAM.

Ski Binding testing out vector based masking from Illustrator

Lenses learning to clean all dust off product before shooting. Could fix in PS but I wanted to shoot other objects and not get to technical on one photo.

Apples I had these babys in the fridge. After processing I felt I should have used smaller aperture. Many lessons learned just from this little bit of work.
