Hive_minD || Continuing what I started !
Hey all. My name is Chris. I just bought myself a Nikon D60. I have always wanted to get started with photography. Still have a long way to go, and lots to learn. But this is mainly for fun. I will be posting a great variety of pictures, everything from vacation shots, to texture shots for my 2D art.

Hey, would suggest resizing some of these. Anything larger than about 900 pixels is too big.

cool have fun with the new camera
Some crits though, check your compositions, the sunrise/set pics you have the sun plonked right in the middle, the first is also slightly overexposed as well. For the landscape pics read up about exposure bracketing. Check your horizontals and verticles as well, some of them are wonky! The second also seems to be either out of focus or is blurred. Hope this helped! Some nice colours in the rock splash pic though.

Love the rusty metal thingy.
also i like the one with the waves breaking on the rocks. would try to focus on the splash and maybe up the shutter speed. Keep on taking photos, you find interesting motives (:

"vacation in Madeira":
-I like the cloud play in the second photo at night. -The third photo is really poetic with the black background and vibrant colors. -I also really like the second photo after the photo of the child. Nice colors. "- - - - - -": -Pretty nice flower photo. -Second to last photo has nice composition and good tones. P.S.: Try to label your photos better for future posts, makes it easier to give feedback.

Nice work in 5-7.
I like the composition in #7, maybe the whites are a bit bright?
