Parking Garage Rooftop

http://stoneface-gfx.deviantart.com/...oftop-86936523

I'm very new to this photography thing. I thought I'd try it out. This was taken when I went shooting with my friend. I enjoyed the view from this parking garage rooftop we decided to visit and came up with this. The exposure was wayyyy off, but i tried to fix it as much as I could. My friend was busy running down a flight of 10 steps do to me dropping his lense cap off the edge, oops!

thats a tricky scene to capture due to the high dynamic range that is there

if your camera has the ability to to AEB (auto exposure bracketing) then try using that and merging in photoshop

otherwise you will need to point the camera at the sky and metre, then reframe and do the same for the buildings and then you can merge these

like the clouds tho keep posting

Thanks for your blunt honesty.
I'll check to see if my camera supports what you're talking about. Much thanks!

No problem, composition was good, landscapes like this are a right pain to expose

had some problem with beach landscapes in costa rica

Taken at an abandoned house, up in the attic.
This house was amazing. Tons of objects to shoot at. Very run - down, eroded. We'll be going back soon to get some more. Also, expecta texture pack full of high resolution stocks in the near future.
