Nefi's Landscapes!

Just a few photos I've done and uploaded to photobucket, just to test the ground our here. I'll see what happens and perhaps post a few more. I'm getting close to having a website but wanted to see what people thought beforehand!

Just as a future reference my photo's vary a lot and I don't think I have a certain style either.

Oh and this is my first real post here.

Trees at a park in Munising, MI.

A bird flying over head off of Lake Superior.

Sun rise at a park, I forget the name, in Waupaca, WI.

Just uploaded a few more :O

A rock formation at a wayside east of Mill Bluffs State Park in Wisconsin.

Same as previous.

Brainerd's Bridge Park in Waupaca, WI.

Another park in Waupaca, same as the last picture in the previous post. This spring/winter was very interesting in WI.

Same place as previous!

be cool if you numbered the pics when posting to help referencing them

I really like the sunset and coloured rock formation though

think the duotone needs more contrast though, its a bit bland looking

No wonder everyone else number's their photos! lol I knew I forgot something.

I can definitely see what you mean in the duotone one, I'll have to try something with that one again.

And heres one more photo.

Munising, MI(Oh noes Yoopers!) I have not been to a more beautiful place, unfortunately going after tourism season/close to beginning of winter meant some places were closed for the season but the lack of people made it wonderful to just go around and sit at the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves without the chatter of children and parents and dogs barking, not that thats a bad thing but sometimes its just nice to sit in silence and think about how amazing and beautiful nature can be.

Ok I got carried away lol... but anyway I think this is one of the best pictures I've done but after uploading maybe I should have made the grass a bit more green? I'm not sure but let me know what you think!

Obviously the picture from my avatar and header on my eventual website.

OH and expect many more pictures from Munising as I go through my photos.

somehow I like the last one better in your avatar, maybe it would look good in upright format, too? I like the blue tones a lot in the picture, they're definitely more dominant than the greens. maybe try more saturation on them? and I'd straighten the horizon. like it is now the picture seems to fall to the right side. and maybe crop some of the bottom because the line separating the beach from the ocean is pretty much in the middle of the picture - would be interesting to see it at the lower third.
don't get me wrong, that's a lot of crits, but I think that photo has a lot of potential and that you can make more of it
