Nice use of lighting in these, were they taken with a window off to the left, or were you using strobes/studio lights?

There are some nice shots. I’m going to spit hairs here, remember these are some great shots.

On the first one is you could get just one zone up on the black on the right side to show a little more of the form of the black dress that would give it just that little extra. It’s the challenge of working with natural light. You nailed it in the second photo, note how you can see more of the form of the body curving towards the background.

The second photo highlights are also great as they define the cheek, and show nice depth of the face with a highlight on the nose and the shadow on the base of the nose. The highlight on the arm pulls the eye to the face, it works great with the composition.

The third shot is my choice for #1 of the four. The composition isn’t dramatic like the first two, it shows more of the subject. The skin texture is great as you can see the difference between the arm, lips, nose, hair and eyes. It has a real natural feel.

The fourth photo is great, the skin textures are good, but seeing the full rang in the third photo makes the fourth stand in tough company.

I’m a big fan of natural light or studio lights diffused well over strobes and these photos show how the light can wrap around the subject.

Again, great shoots, keep shooting.
