Trying

I'm 15, a noob in photography, and all I got is an old crappy digital camera, 3 mega pixel.

But I love taking pictures, and this thread is where I'll post some of them.

Comments and especially criticism are much appreciated.

Thank you.

Iliada

Nice work with #10. #17 looks better in B/W; would work more on the contrast though.

You really have a very good eye for interesting compositions! Awesome stuff!
My favourite is #6, I think -the light gives it a wonderful surreal feel.

I prefer 17 in color, but I agree with purplerose regarding the contrast in the b/w version. The last one, I think, coud use some more contrast, while in some others like #11 and 15 there's so much contrast that it is a bit harder to figure out what's going on.

Looking forwards to seeing more!

Thanks a lot, Nike and Purplerose.

I've played with the contrast in some of the pictures; but I haven't uploaded (yet).

Some new, sorry for the many flower pictures:

Nice updates!

#23, #28 and #29 (the first two of your last batch) are my favourites. I'm usualy not really a fan of partial desaturation, but in your picture it's so well done that I really like it. in#29 the composition is really appealing and the sharpness, too

I like the abstract quality of #19. Whites feel a bit overexposed though.
