I've done a lot of things, but creating images for a remake of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8r Boi" film clip was not one I'd done before. Feedback would be great, I've done very little model work so any tips are really appreciated!

I like the first one best, it reminds me most of that video (although I have to admit I only saw it once or twice maybe), the others seem a bit too static for me. and your model looks nicer and not as snotty-nosed as Miss Lavigne except in photo nr 2. But I really like the lighting in all of them and the angle of nr 4.

I can't comment much on the Avril Lavigne-ness, but they are really nice.

1, 2, and 5 are definitely the strongest out of the bunch to me. 1 is really energetic and dynamic (the whole jumping in the air bit helps out, haha), while 2 and 5 help convey the attitude really well.
4 is a decent shot, but it doesn't grab me as much. With 3 and 6, the problem mostly lies in the stiffness of the model. 1 and 2 are definitely my favorites. |

Carolupus: Thankyou very much. She was a lovely girl, much nicer than I expect Avril would be based on her image. These are meant to be the static 'promo-style' shots, but I would have liked to do more active stuff. I'll have to recruit another friend and have more of a play at some point.
Rose: Thanks, appreciated ![]() Jaffa: Thanks mate, I do need to work on making models more comfortable in their poses. Do you have any tips I could use?
