Just a beginning...

This is just a beginning... as time goes on there will be more added to this thread. Let me know what you think, any crit that can help me improve is greatly appreciated!

Hey, welcome the forum.

For me the subject gets a big lost in the background, using a faster aperture (smaller f stop) would help get more background blur.

If your lens doesn't stop any further you can position the models elsewhere. Having more distance between them and the background will also increase this. You may need to get them to hold some foliage to achieve this.

The second one is the bset but again the bg needs more seperation and the diagonal thing behind her head leads the eye out of the picture. Watch out for this kinda thing.

I assume that first one you have done some colouring on the computer? Looking at the hair it looks like you tried painting over it. If you are going to do that put more time into it as this attempt stands out a mile.
