Some nice shots there, I like the compostion of 4, did you lighten the top right in post?
Perhaps posting what gear you were using might be helpful for others? I believe from the catch lights you were using a flash on the hotshoe? One niggle is the shallow depth of field (DOF) on a couple of them, sometimes it can add to the picture other times it would be nice to get more (numbers 5+10 for example). Obviously this can be tricky with macro shots, but if this bad boy sits still, longer exposures with the aid of a tripod might let you use a slower aperture. Not really a fan of 6 and 7 though. Also where where these taken, am I right in thinking that the spider is a pet? Keep it up, I love seeing what people can get using macro. |

Lovely little spiders.
Harvestmen are so much fun to photograph, patient models. ![]() Lovely compositions and DOF in all of them. My faves are 1, 4 & 5

Beautiful shots and interesting spiders. Composition is great and they are so wonderfully sharp and detailled.
What camera/lenses did you use for these? I can't wait to try Makro. |
