The first is an interesting technique but dosn't seem to work well, mainly because it takes up so much of the frame. Were you trying to get the flower in focus, or were you intending to capture it like that?

'kinda what i was goin for, but not quiet on target...i actually wanted more of a up-thru-the-grass look...the fluff seems too close and out of focus compared to the background; but i kinda like it...'still feels off....

i think this last one could look better if you focused on the flower and let the lines of the fence fall away out of focus, but i like the colours
