Really nice capture of the tree in #2. Should try playing around with cropping on it though.

Keep posting!

To take these shot's i have used an tripod and i played with the shuttertime.

I could really use some crit's, how to's and tips&trics to get the best out of my EOS 350D

Heya,

Good start! I really like #2 (great angle!), that last branch photo, and the colors in your nightshots.

Since your asking for crits...

I've notized that many of your compositions are quite central - try playing around a bit with different compositions, the main motive doesn't always have to be in the center of the picture.

Regarding the nightshots - it really helps to use a tripod for these, or, if you don't have a tripod, find a place where you can put your camera - like a wall or a rock. For nightshots, I usually use iso 100 or iso 200 and expose very long. A narrow aperture, like f 18-f 22 helps to get every object in your pictures sharp. So in general, for these setting you need a very long exposure time. Therefor it is useful to use the self timer/ automatic release to avoid camera shake.

Hope that helps? It might be easier for people to help you with tips& crits if you write what you were trying to achieve in your pictures and where you are facing problems

Looking forwards to seeing more!

I really like #2 but I agree with purplerose that its needs to be croped... It might work better if it is croped so that the tree is off center.

I also really like this last one you posted. The curvature of the lights is very appealing. However, I think it could use a crop as well.

Keep up the good work!

At first thnxx for the crit's, i will try to use your advice next time.

* Try some other compositions
* Try some cropping's

The last nigth shot's i took, i took with an tripod and i played around with the exposure time.

I'd just croped that tree picture. This is the result

#2A

Here is an shot i took at the local elegal street race's.

I wanted to take an shot, where you can see the movement of the bikes. I think it worked out well.

Really cool and interesting crop on the tree. Would make a great layout for something.

Thnxx

Here is an shot i did today.

It's an shot of an fresh growing lavendel.
I attempt to focus on the lavendel, and blur the background. But some parts of the lavendel are also blurry

I really like the yellows in the last one. I think with a tighter crop and a bit more contrast, it would stand out even more.

Veel succes met de canon challenge, je had een goede inzending

Overall nice photo's, I like the angle in nr. 37, although I think the background is a little disturbing
Nr. 38 is quite dark, I can't see the reflection of the industry very well. I like the lights twingling there

#38 is a really good nightshot, I think!
On my monitor, it isn't too dark at all - or did you change it after Ment's comment?

Cool bike in #37 and great colors - there's just a bit too much going on in the background, in my opinion.

Love the twin rainbows, too.

Keep posting!

I had tried this but without an tripod it's pretty difficult to not move the camera.

# 38 At my screen the shot isnt dark at all, and i can see the reflection's verry well, maybe an problem on your screen, cause i didnt change it.

I think you played too much with the contrast in the last one, you can see pixels in the right upper corner (the black spot) and the colors of the bug don't look very normal to me.
