pentax K20D

anyone used these or scene what they are producing?

looking at upgrading before I leave for japan and spotted pentax had upgraded.

just wondering whats peoples thoughts on these

I went to a shop and got to hold one.....

*drools*
now I am desperately trying to find a fulltime job, and figure out ways to possibly sell some of my nicer photos lol

about 1500$ canadian with taxes so likey 1400-1450ish with our dollars being the same.

well, its allowed to be that expensive. its amazing.

it even has a thing that tells you if theres dust on the censor, and where exactly it is

If you ever want to shoot sports or things in low light, I recommend another brand. Pentax has abysmal AF and high ISO performance. This said, if you want to shoot with lovely primes, Pentax has a fair few of them. My US$0.02

yah I have noticed that with my *IST DL.

klips in your experience would you stick with pentax for street/studio styled work?

i think the 20d is more for arts stuff, such as portraits and nature.

if you want to shoot sports, go with a canon 40D. 10mp, excellent for sports.

yes but then again I <3 the nikon and pentax ,, don't personally like the stuff canon has..

guess I need to get rich quick so I can get a nikon and a K20 0_O
