I like the tones a lot and the way you just see a little more than the silhouette of your model, but I always find windowpanes and frames distracting. also, I'd get rid of the white triangle in the upper right in the second photo.

The first one is too dark for me, I almost can't see the face anymore.
The white in the window is blown out and doesn't add much to the photo itsself.

I like the second one best, the look of the woman is intruiging, like Caropolus said, cut the triangle in the upper right.

I am in love with the lighting in the last one. Beautiful subject as well.

The most recent two are, for my tastes, overprocessed. The first one has a nice texture but it is too strong, it takes away fromt he subject too much. The weird brown shape on her face is very distracting. The second one would be a lot better without the lens flare, it looks very artificial and out of place. Someone who was excellent at layering textures over photos was cigaro, I don't think she has any of her stuff on the new site so you may have to go into the archives but it's worth (or find her on carbonmade, or flickr).

To me your best one is the first, it has great play between light and shadows, a very chiaroscuro effect for lack of a better term. Keep that up and be more restrained on your photomanipulation and I think the results will turn out very nicely.

This is heavily DI in certain sense..... so it looks more like a painting or a doll than a pic...trying my hand at different approaches.

I like what you did with those last two. The latter especially.

Be good if you explained what you did to each shot as you post them if you are playing around with them in post processing too.

I did not do much to the pics actually. Just tweaked curves, contrast, colour and edited e background by burning and than dodging e face n body of e model to give it a more 3d feel..... should I post e originals as well so people can see e diff? For the white dress pic, I added spotlight towards e end but that is about it.... nothing too complex since I was editing e pics out in a cafe with my gf who was there rushing her projects.

I'd be interested to see the original on that white dress pic, I really like the purple accents that are on it, assumed this was a result of something you did to it in post.

Its quite cool how simple adjustments can drastically improve an image though, good stuff.

It's a little hard to comment pics without number.
I like the smoothness in the light of some photos, but i don't like the treatment on the fourth and the sixth. I think it to different of the smooth of your model.

I really like the last one, the colors are great. Wish the instrument wasn't cut off though.

I like the mood of the tube(?) photo. not too fond of the lens flare though.

hey welcome back ;]

I like the composition and the lines in the second one, though it appears a bit overexposed/washed out
