I like that it has a bigger viewfinder and the live view. If I was going to upgrade this would probably be the camera I would buy. But I think Im going to stick with my 350D for a bit longer.

I'll be sticking with my 400D a little longer too, well a lot longer to be honest, although the live view is a nice treat.

If that model was out when I was looking to buy, I would have bought it, but I'm not about to run out and upgrade from my 400D.

I just need some better lenses.

Yeah. Better lenses is generally always to be preferred over better camera body.

I recently upgraded from a D60 (Canon, old to a 40D, and i can't say i shoot better pictures with it. Just faster and more easier.

Now 450D is a nice camera for anyone looking to buy one. But upgrade? Its not that big of a leap.
