I like the last one and the girl in the wading pool. Nice captures :]
You might want to work on your noise though, it can be pretty dang distracting. And some are too dark/blurry

are you shooting film? if you are, getting a better film with less grain.
if youre shooting digital, set it to a lower ISO. |

if you're shooting digital in a dark room, actually set it to a higher ISO to get more light it and a brighter exposure, then darken. That is of course if the noise/grain bothers you. A lot of people wouldn't mind it.

The sixth image was taken with film, the lab killed the negative and i recovered a few images, like 5 from 32 shots, i didn't bother cleaning the white dots because it kind of reminds me of the feeling of the place we were when i took it. Pretty chaotic and dirty.
The other pictures, except for a couple were taken at concerts at night and very far away from the stage, i had to shot the pics at 800 - 1600 ISO without flash. |

Just be sure to differentiate between grain and noise. Grain often = good, noise rarely so.

i've never tried this technique, wouldn't it just blow out all your highlights? but i guess a little blow out is better than a lot of noise... time to experiment...

I like your style, it's got the Ye Olde flair to it.
You captured the costumed people really wel, its almost like you stepped in a timemachina with an old Nikkormat nice job ! |

Thank you so much Cypher, it's really good to know other people's views, it's kind of tricky to see your own art or photography, i've seen mine so much it's difficult to *see* things the way others do.
Thank you alicat08 ![]() And yes i like grain but not noise, i understand what you mean, i will take some more shots and share them and see if it looks better this time. |

Gorgeous. I particularly like the first two and the last two. I, also, prefer to have some graininess in photos, and would disagree that it is distracting. To me, it shows the human touch, and proves that both photographer and subject are real, with real flaws, and more beautiful for it.
