This set is actually really old. I took these before I even got into photography, and I guess it kinda got me right in it.

After experimenting a lot with long exposures, I made this piece for a French photo contest. It was a general contest with lots of categorizes, so there wasn't a theme, but yea. Used a lighter.

My cousin is majoring in glassblowing, or torching rather, but it's all the same. This is him making some kinda marble.

I like the lighting of the one with the statue, although I think it would look nicer without the light painted wing.

the lightpainted wing would have been better if something other than a lighter was used for it...oh well, charge to experience i guess?

Well I could have used a candle, but the effect wouldn't have been any different. I've used flashlights of all sorts and that wasn't as interesting.
