Elian's B&W

Hey guys ,

Here are scans of some B&W photos, which a friend from school made for me today... well, actually they turned out pretty bad, but i guess it's because i gave him photos instead of the negatives?! Anyway, I hope they aren't too bad and I'll ask my art teacher to scan some of the negatives... maybe that's better .

Anyway, here they are... but i have to say, that im quite a noob

Comments and Critism are welcome, as there are a lot of things i want to do better next time, but cant figure out what it is, that makes the photos look more professional...

Regards Elian

The Jack photo has the potential to be better...maybe a smaller focus like just a few bottles or even one bottle would take this photo to the next level. Great work though!

Hey,

Thank you very much for your comment! Next time I have access to the darkroom, I'll definitely try what you said, but unfortunately it's in school and we have holidays right now :P... I already developed the photo a second time and cropped out a bit of the bottom but it looks pretty much the same... Do you think i should remain the contrast and brightness and just focus on one Bottle or would you change it?

regards Elian

I really like the first one. It's very natural but artistic at the same time. It has a nice air to it.

Hey Guys,

First of all, I'm sorry for my absence, I haven't been online much lately, but of course still taking photos ; ).

Thanks Gentile and Jofx, I really appreciate your comments .

Here's another Photo I took on my trip to Barcelona... Please excuse the bad quality, but I had to take a photo of the photo ... anyway

Regards, Elian!
