Macro Fly

Hi! My first post here so give me some feedback and tell me what I can do better. A lot of good artists here, I'm just trying to improve.

Shutter: 1/80
Aperture: f. 5,6
ISO: 400

Welcome to the group Fures,
i really like the colours and focal depth (with the rear flower giving the fly a pink halo that softens into the solid green). Unfortunately the image is a little too small to properly judge sharpness or exposure but as for composition i think i would crop away some of the green to take the fly off the centre line, perhaps putting the fly and the centre of the flower on the 3rd lines, but it would be nice to see a larger version.
nice first post though, keep it up.

A larger image would be much more useful, impressive and also attracts more comments. So go ahead and post one! =) I usually resize my images to somewhere between 600px and 800px along the largest dimension, so that they're easy to view in a browser and still big enough to see detail.

From what I can see, the photo looks great though! Can't wait to see a larger version =)

Much better! And wow, fantastic shot. I love the critical focus on the most important part. Can I ask what equipment you're using?

Only thing I can think of to make this image a little better is to crop off the top and a bit on the left side, just so the insect isn't dead in the center! =)

Such a pity that shading pink/green in the backgroung. Just behind the fly...
I like the colors, it would have been a great moment to catch
