signature update on all posts?

Hi there,

I figured I should create new threads for the individual things I stumble across with telling names instead of posting everything under "bugs". Hope you agree. Otherwise just tell me...

When I edit my signature, shouldn't the new siggy be updated on all the posts I made?
Right now it seems that a change is only displayed in the posts after the change.

Does that also mean that the contents in my signature stay the same on the post it first appeared with for ever? That would be a bit awkward for situations in which you might want to edit the contents of your signature (because in this case you couldn't)

Or am I missing something?
