Photos by [e] (some nakedness)

I don't like these changes

Anyway, here's a new and old photo. The old one I haven't posted before. And the rest of my posted stuff was here.

I can't see the images in either this thread or your old one :S

Edit: as soon as I posted that I could see them in this thread. Nice stuff, prefer the top one.

I like your composition, the red on the knees is a nice touch, gives a sense of innocence I think. When i see banged up knees, I think of children.

If you don't mind sharing, what kind of effects do you put on the skin in post production?

I'm actually very childish at heart, I guess it kinda rubs off in my compositions.

As for the effects... quite simple really, I select the areas I want a different shade, generally with a feather of 50 or so, make a new layer for them, and play around with levels and saturation. In the case of the second photo, the entire thing I took saturation off of, and then added more saturation and red to the joints.

Funny, I thought of the phrase "Bruises on knees, always keen to please."

But guess that is the dirty mind I have ;o

The first one is quite soft, comforting,

while I'm inclined to agree with Grumbledook on the phrase "Bruises on knees, always keen to please"...the clothing certainly isn't innocent...

Can't say I've ever heard that phrase before. But I think I know where it's going...

Uh.. I mess around with colors I lot. If you haven't noticed yet, I tend to go with soft, desaturated colors. Considering a simple backdrop, I don't like colors in the background at all. And I make this sort of out of focus look to most of my photos. I don't know if this kind of style is really working for them... Well, I haven't heard any complaints yet.

Anyway, some actual new stuff?! I guess this is for St. Patrick's day.

Nice stuff eLR, the soft focus (and classical pose of the last image) give them the look of a painting. i really like the hyper colour joints on your earlier stuff and it might have been nice to see some of that here but even without these are beautiful. my favorite is the last one.

I like the first one best of your last three photo's, a more monochromatic background would have been better I think, it distracts less from the person itsself.
I'm not sure though, it also adds a little to the woman itsself.

I like the color and the softness of the all photo's.
