Alternative Processes
Gah, I feel like a crazed school girl right now.
Anywhoo.... Periodically, I will update this thread describing different processes for developing photos. This will include using a set of 4 different photos/negatives: high shadows, high highlights, high contrast and low contrast. These images will also be printed on different materials: cardboard, ceramics and watercolor papers. Stay tuned while I get my images together. ![]() Cyanotype will be up first, btw.

This will be very helpful. I'm typically very noobish in the darkroom, and tend to stick with digital, although I would definately love to develop my own photos successfully for once

Meet Your Lab Rats...
I want to introduce you guys to our lab rats... erm... test images/negatives.
I've compiled four different types of photos to help me determine what looks best in each process. High contrast image: ![]() A somewhat low key image (mostly shadows and dark tones): ![]() A somewhat high key image (mostly highlights and light tones): ![]() Low contrast image: ![]()

I know how to do black & white developing, but not colour. I don't have access to a darkroom anymore either unfortunately... one of the downfalls of finishing school!
