Nice photos. I like the compositions and capture of light. Should try cropping the bright sky above the dark cloud in 2c.

Thanks a lot, Purplerose (your work is very great !)
I'm not fan of "aftercropping", but, you're totally right, i have not the right eye for the good framing when I shot. So I have to work on this way !
So i tried that... with a lot of noise...

3. "Romantic gun"
i really had fun with this work. Shoot with a traditionnal camera : Yashica TL Electro X, with macro Telemore95 (4,95 euro on Ebay!!! lol ) + a 11mm ring. (Ilford 125 iso, f 5,6/4/2,8)

4b is a nice crop of the original. 4a is nice as well; would crop a bit off the right side though.

Thanks purplerose. I wouldn't crop it on the right, because the character would have been too much in the center.

In this morning walk, I found beautiful grass. I think it has got something romantic, and at the same time, something sad.

4.

Has this got any interest ? What do you think about that?

I saw this one on dA. I really like it....What would it look like if you turned in CW 90 deg? Sorry I tend to look at things backwards, upside down, and sideways (Let's just say I'm crazy...)

Thanks a lot scientuslatens.

you are not crazy ! Pertinent point of view ! It could be very interesting. I'll try with a more appropriated one.

For the moment i'd like to introduce you my new useful friends :

hé ! hé !

I went one more time for a trail in my region (you could see my recent landscape in the appropriate thread) and I was looking for other grasses like in the 4th pic.

5.

6.
this one would be more interesting with macro.

A similar treatment with texture :

7.
The barbed wire and the texture treatment give sense to a banal original shot.

Another texture experiment

Thanks by advance for your comments

wow,

nos. #4, #5, and #6 are really beautiful. I like the shallow DOF and the tenderness of the plants. Also the colour of the light in the background. What time of the day was that?

Question: What do you mean by "numeric" camera? Do you mean it's analogue?

And in general: Nice to have someone else around who still shoots film!

^^

Hey, hey ! Thanks a lot !
Breaking throught the language barrier is very hard for me, particulary with technical vocabulary. Argh !!!!
I think digital camera is the right word for "numeric camera", I think what you call DOF is "profondeur de champs" in french but I'm not sure.

It has been taken with a pentax K10D, there was a lot of mist (I love those atmospheres). It was early in the morning (between 7 and 8 hours).

Hello, hello

I tried 3 versions on 1 photo. I hate the sky. So I would be glad to have your opinion. It could certainly help me to finish this compo.
