Leukeh's Animals

My animals! Right now I don't have too many (decent) animal pics... I'll hopefully get some more soon.

I took these at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney.

I've been thinking of converting a couple of these to B&W to see how they look... Might post the result later.

I like the colours in these, the second shot being the best

the first one, the water makes a nice backgrounf, though it appears the highlights are blown slightly, whilst the angle of the sun on the duck is hiding it in shadow

an off camera snooted flash aimed at the duck may help even the light out between subject and background

Duck 2 is my favourite. I actually prefer it in color, because the blue is so beautiful and the red eyes make a nice contrast. But it looks nice in b/w, too.
Looking forwads to seeing more ...ducks or whatever :-)

Finally uploading these... I took them at the Royal Easter Show a few weeks before Easter. No post-processing at all! Finally starting to get it right while shooting =) At least I think so...
