Flow and The Wave are both fantastic, and would look great in my living room. I love the colors, so often color gets removed from photos and it's nice to see such vibrant colors without them being over saturated. Absolutely love it!

As the others said, Flow is great, something "magical" going on or something. Is it just a clear glass marble? Makes me think of a crystal ball.

Is the first shot the same kinda thing going on? Trying to fathom what is in the picture. Another plant/leaf using a fast aperture focused on the marble?

Keepsake, Flow and The Wave are all photos of water drops on my Kale plant.

Welcome to my studio! I labeled everything that's important, the only thing I left out is the flashlight. I like to have some macros well lit to achieve a certain look. So, my three light sources are a lamp, sunlight and a flashlight. My white balance is set to Incandescent to get rid of yellow light cast.

The three Kale leaf macro shots were very impromptu. I would water my plants and these perfect beads/drops of water would form at the base of the stalks or in the middle of some of the fallen leaves.

Take your picture.

Rotate/flip/crop

and enjoy.

Now I'm trying to work on getting some to form on the green leaves of the plant. You can only do so many before they start looking the same.

Just slight editing for contrast. I like to limit my PP to stuff I can do in a traditional darkroom.

Me neither. I have a love/hate relationship with "Crystalline." Still iffy about Keepsake, feels top heavy to me, but I still like it every now and then.

I like your use of negative space. it works well with your gorgeous composition and color. I'd like to see a bit more sharpness in the small upturned leaf area of 'Delicate' I think.

Amazing. as always rose.

Does anyone actually have a bad word to say about your work?

If they do, im not sure they're entirely sane..

lol, thanx. I'm always my toughest critic. I don't like half the stuff I post online... I guess that keeps me motivated??? I do appreciate critiques though, but not from crazed know-it-all wackos (they exist ).
