may i ask what camera you're using?

nice shots, i've been trying to produce hard shadows as you've acheived and any tips would be awesome.

thanks

Thank you.
I use the Sony Alpha 100.
All pictures came more "alive" by digital darkroom techniques (tonal range, contrast controls, multi curve tweaks..).
[I like to use Adobe Lightroom.]

Wow! fantastic stuff sir!

If it isnt much trouble..

How were you able to get it to have that moving effect but still stay focused on your face? I tried doing something like that with mine, by upping the FPS but i ended up getting the whole thing blurry.

@Dished:
I made a 30 sec exposure, started with a little fill-in flash and used some bulblight during the "movement"
Here are some more results:

Sony Alpha? Kick ass.. I want that cam... nice shots sir.. I specially love your see environments, and the room where theres a mans dark silhouette, and some computer equipment/plotter in the right background.

yeah, nice as before. The technique looks similar to High Pass Filter sharpening to me.

Excellent work. Get creative ideas, which hopefully people realise is FAR more important than just the camera. I might have to have a play with those movement ones, see what I can come up with.

If I was a cow, I would be terified by this man !
I'm not fan of motion shot but always quality in your work and something enigmatic.
"Lonesom duo" is my favorite.:)

I like your 'men' best, especially cowman - great expression and nice composition - and mirrorman - I have a thing for reflections and chemtrails -> reflected chemtrails = awesomeness ;)
love the sharpness of all of the photos!
