Voted for stine because bright "fresh" colors always mean summer to me. The little flowers are a plus as well. :)

Alucard got my vote... the warm tones really add to the "summer" mood of the picture for me. and well, it just feels like summer!

Stine, you were a *very* close second. the story behind yours really added too... props!

Stine - You get my vote. You have the most summerlike feel to me. Also reminds me of laundry detergent for some reason. The focus is a little too narrow on the grass for me, which keeps it from being a great photograph IMO.

Valadilene - It is a nice concept shot, but it doesnt not connect to summer for me at all.

alucard - It feels very vintage, and almost has a bit of snapshot feel to it too. I do see the conncetions with it and summer, but it just isnt a photograph i like to look at. Something between the harsh almost post apocalyptic colour and the busy photograh turns my eye off.

Shade of Dawn - This photograph doesnt scream summer, but i wanted to share it as i thought it was fun. I took my snake for a romp in the grass, which she probably found interesting being a desert snake and all. I felt that it has enough life and bloom to the shot to portray summer. It feels fairly alive. I just liked the shot.

Hmm, stine hasn't been on here lately. Per the rules, it's up to either Valadilene, alucard or ShadeOfDawn to start the next challenge. Since it's been a week since the poll closed, I guess the first person to log in and see this needs to start the next challenge. If stine shows up first, stine can start the new challenge. :)
