Really nice work in the first one. The 5th one is pretty nice as well, just wish the foremost leaf wasn't cut off.

Thank you Purplerose, I really appreciate the feedback! I had the 1st one printed and framed, my wife loves it... I guess we take hundreds of pix and get lucky with a few :)

I REALLY want a macro lens, they are just so expensive...maybe theres a trick using of te shelf magnifying glass or something?

I've used a magnifying glass before, but it's a bit of a pain to set it up. however, you can try the reversed lens technique until you can buy a macro lens: http://www.cs.mtu.edu/~shene/DigiCam/User-Guide/A95/Close-Up/Reversal.html . If you don't feel like buying the other stuff they list, you can search for some other ways to attach it to your camera, or you can hold it in place. :)
