it does seem a little blown out to me. but still a very good shot. i like both of the dog ones.

my dog doesnt like to get his picture taken. if he sees the camera, he looks away.

it is the 3rd haha! I see it now , dang i need to change some settings on my monitor grr@ laptop monitors ,
ml my pets back home are the same! they run when they see the camera and we tried to take pictures of two other animals before they ran and hid under the bed , for oliver here we just had to let him tire himself out

dude, i have to say you have come light-years from when you first started. like hands down kick ass job. only crit from just a purely observational perspective in regards to your post of the asian couple on 6/7/08: the lighting of the man's face is a great touch, but i can't help but feel that the picture is hurt a bit due to the lack of lighting on the woman's face. that's my only thought, keep it up man, awesome stuff

That second one is nice as well. Would maybe work more on the highlights to give it better contrast and help the model stand out more from the background.

I try to keep the highlights as low key as a possibly can, trying out a new method of processing b&ws and it works well in it!! as for background I've got a new one under my belts

The orange/blue contrast is really awesome in the first one. would be even better if we could see the eyes.

I really like the second one though, still worried about the contrast though. Have you picked a new backdrop yet?

i am really digging the mid-tones on these last couple ones here. They almost look like photographic pencil drawings.

I like the very last one, the tonal value, you can see more of his face then you can in the black and white version.

Contrast is great in these. :) Really love the last one. Crop is a bit tight on the back foot, but nothing too major. :)
