I've done a lot of things, but creating images for a remake of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8r Boi" film clip was not one I'd done before. Feedback would be great, I've done very little model work so any tips are really appreciated!

Bigger versions and lighting info are on my Flickr, which is conveniently linked to in my signature!

I like the first one best, it reminds me most of that video (although I have to admit I only saw it once or twice maybe), the others seem a bit too static for me. and your model looks nicer and not as snotty-nosed as Miss Lavigne except in photo nr 2. But I really like the lighting in all of them and the angle of nr 4.

I can't comment much on the Avril Lavigne-ness, but they are really nice. ;)

1, 2, and 5 are definitely the strongest out of the bunch to me. 1 is really energetic and dynamic (the whole jumping in the air bit helps out, haha), while 2 and 5 help convey the attitude really well.

4 is a decent shot, but it doesn't grab me as much. With 3 and 6, the problem mostly lies in the stiffness of the model.

1 and 2 are definitely my favorites.

Carolupus: Thankyou very much. She was a lovely girl, much nicer than I expect Avril would be based on her image. These are meant to be the static 'promo-style' shots, but I would have liked to do more active stuff. I'll have to recruit another friend and have more of a play at some point.

Rose: Thanks, appreciated :D

Jaffa: Thanks mate, I do need to work on making models more comfortable in their poses. Do you have any tips I could use?
