If you want great ideas for photography, listen to "Iron & Wine".. the lead singer and guitarist of the band was an ex-cinematographer and thus speaks in images in all his songs. "Naked As We Came" and "Cinder & Smoke" are good recommends if you are in the try-out mood.

the new album's okay, but i like the arrogance of the last album so the new one seems a little weak. as for my album, it's a few years since we released that one so it's getting harder to come by and it was only released in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the UK but if you live in one of these countries you might still find it. you can find one of our film clips on youtube (full fathom five - who's your daddy) but it's older and more electronic than our newer stuff (and now it sounds a little embarrassing).
alternately, if you can't find it elsewhere, send me your address and i'll burn you a copy... :p

Unfortunately I don't live in one of those countries (now that would be cool!)... it's quite hard to get non-mainstream stuff here, and I couldn't find your album anywhere else. But I watched that video on youtube - I really like the style! Was that done in After Effects or some other program or were the figures cut out in real?
I'm from Austria (just posted an introduction ;)), so I guess it would be pretty expensive to send me a cd... you don't have a myspace or something?

that was done using hundreds of cut out photo's, sticky-taped to long bits of cardboard and slid through the different scenes. i have a personal myspace (daedicurus) with some experimental stuff on it but no "Full Fathom Five" our record contract prevents us from putting songs on the net (one of the problems with major labels) but if your interested, private message me your address and i'll see what i can do.

Amazing! I had so much fun. The guitarists in Avenged Sevenfold were drunk, which was disappointing and a little insulting but that was the only bad thing about the whole concert. Very good.
