Hi everyone,

I was just wondering how you guys go about taking vertical photographs with a tripod? That is - without cropping afterwards. I don't want to be bound to horizontal images alone. Thanks for the help. - Murk

You need a tripod that lets you tilt the camera. Most tripods do that.

Or, if you're in love with the tripod that you have, you can purchase a camera rotating bracket from someone like Custom Brackets to mount the camera to, then mount the assembly onto the tripod.

Or, you can use a lens that has a rotating tripod collar built into it.

Probably cheaper to buy a new tripod though XD.

I have a ball head on my tripod, lets you move it to practically any angle
