Four for now, I may resize them.

I went to Namibia not all too long ago; it really did put the concept of wealth into perspective, but that aside, some shots:

Momid! Uhm, Momid will become clear when I can be bothered to post a sketchbook back in the Old Country.

You know that 'if it's far away it's lighter' rule that some people use in drawing? Slap those people.

3.

Salt Pan, funnily enough it tasted of salt.

4.

Yes, how did that tree get up there? Also, hot days, cold nights, the rocks expand and then contract leading them to crack, which gives that whole 'boulder' look.
Oh yes, this is only a section of it, that thing was massive.

Well, it's a start, if I find any others I feel like posting I will do so. I may try and take some other landscapes in the coming weeks.

must have been a great place to visit, its on my list of places to go

the last one is the best of the lot

maybe investing in a circular polarizer will aid with getting more blue in the skys and cut through the haze better

and some ND grads would help with retaining the detail in the sky for shots like number 2, I know I've had problems with this myself and they are next on my shopping list

I like #2, lots of depth. Would play around with the contrast on it though.

Oh, thanks guys! I'll take the suggestions to heart. I have a couple more photos to post, but nothing quite so different. So when I get some landscapes nearer to home I'll be sure to post them, and be sure to crit them, yes?!
