It's a hoax? Well, there you go.
EDIT: after reading up on it, it's still a good read but it's a shame that it's not true. Ah well, it makes good fiction with a basis in history!

well, partially. obviously she did travel to Chernobyl but the whole 'unlimited access pass' and her actually riding through the zone on her bike is bullshit. she took the same tour as i did.

Yeah, I read a whole bunch of criticisms. I think my favourite one is the one that points out that the photos of the bike end at the border post. Apparently bikes aren't allowed in, so that's another piece of bollocks, as is the whole 'my father is a scientist' thing and so forth.
Anyway, your photos are still excellent. Well done on capturing the mood of the place, it's really just something else.

reminds me sooo much of Call of Duty 4
probably because cod4 was based off of chernobyl.
theres a level in cod4 with that exact ferris wheel and that bumper car thing right next to it.
theres also another level('all ghillied up' i beleive) with that road in it, or one similar to it.

I was thinking the same thing! "Why does this look familiar.....I was sniping right next to that!"
Excellent shots. I love the bumper cars.
