I'm not faced with humidity a lot, but I always keep a glass cleaning cloth with me to keep some of the fogging at bay. Depending on the nature of the shot, a little fogging helps. Though, you may be wiping a lot.

You could also wait and let the lens reach the outside temperature.

Or, keep your lens away from really cold areas by blocking cool air from reaching it. This can be done by leaving it in a car, putting it in a closed room without air conditioning, or keep it sealed inside a bag away from cool areas.

hmm well im having problems with humidity from storms, like i clean the lens when it gets foggy but almost instantly it gets foggy again; also i used the fog to my advantage for one of my shots and it turned out nice. ^__^ So if i just wait long enough the fog will go away due to the temp. of the lens matching the outside temp?

i don't know if im getting your problem right. But our instructor required us to have a silicon bag(the one that goes with your shoes and medicines) to prevent moisture build up in your camera.
