so i just got my Nikon D60 VR and omfg orgasm right?!! Such an amazing camera! i just spent like 60$ on filters and 90$ on a lowepro hiking case, which is def. worth the money in case you were contenplaiting buying one. so i guess this is my intro to the forum...i plan to get very serious with photography :] constructive crits. welcome.

Welcome to the phorums!
I don't have any specific advice, however I can say that the best way to learn your camera is to play around with it and make it your third arm. Also, take photos of anything and everything to figure out what subject matter you are attracted to the most.
Photo-wise, I think you should play around with your compositions more. It's okay to center some photographs, but not all. Your light looks pretty good though.
Keep shooting and posting! Also, look around at other threads and advice that other people give. It helps, trust me. ;) :)

kk thanks ^__^ ive been shooting nonstop since ive gotten it hehe...im mainly into nature and landscape shooting but i wouldn't mind shooting everything :]
