Hi, i've only recently started getting into photography (Still using a digital camera) but I'm really enjoying it, and am especially interested in macro photography, here's some of my pieces (all from the last few weeks):

Welcome to Photography Mob! Interesting name by the way, how did you come up with that?

Your pics, very nice! the blue flower is a bit blurry as well as most of the rope. That is the balance that macro work makes difficult. The easiest way to learn is to pic one single subject to focus on, the ropes represent a problem bc there are so many strands. the first pic of the pink flowers is good. push the colors a bit in the editing if you have a program. I like the guitar and the composition is pretty good too. Im not sure about the rusty one. It really doesnt do anything for me because the shape and texture doesnt talk about anything. maybe a different angle or work with smaller, more complete rusty objects like bolts or shards...

Keep it up!

Thanks EvrEst, i'll take on board your criticism. I've used this name for years online, it was originally going to be just Spikey (Old nickname) but that was taken, and zesty just randomly popped into my head, and thought it sounded a bit unusual :P

It is a shame that the overall composition didnt turn out the way you wanted but at least you see that! Go out and get it again and do it right! I cant crit because you did it yourself. Aside from that get as close to them as possible and if you can, blur the background. :)
