I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can share recommendations, links, ...
all about photographers - whose work can you recommend, do you admire, which good books have you read etc.

I'll start with Frans Lanting.

He is one of my favourite photographers ever. He is able to capture atmospheres, motions, animal behaviour in a very fascinating way - I think is work set milestones in wildlife photography.

I've just stumbled upon his slide show LIFE: a journey through time. It's 86 photos combined with music by Philipp Glass and some text.
I really enjoyed watching it and wanted to sare the link, in case there are other wildlife photography lovers on board:

I love Frans Lantings work and The life through time slideshow, very inspiring.

very cool the slideshow... the music, the design of the page, very interesting this project "LIFE", liked a lot... this Frans Lanting is really a great photographer.
