35mm camera

okay, so i have a 35mm minolta xg-a slr camera right now. theres a couple problems though. my mirror is locked in the up position.

i know im not supposed to, but i tried pushing it down, and it just goes right back up. its been like this for a couple months.

anyone know how to fix it without paying for a repair? if not, then im gonna pay.

try looking up the manual for that particular camera online, see if you get lucky. Then read it. See if that helps :)
