Hey all,
using a prosumer camera called the Canon Powershot S3 IS
it's a couple years old, but a decent one anyway.
Was wondering, is there anyway to turn off the beep the camera makes when it is pressed down on half-shutter. That is, when the shutter is half-pressed, it makes a loud loud "bee-beep" noise that makes it hard to take photos of people. To my knowledge, there's nothing that allows you to disable it on the menu...
Is this a characteristic of all cameras? Just Canon? Is this a privacy feature?
And is there anyway I can DL a program to stop it? Or can I manually block it with cotton or something?
Wanted to know if anyone knows about this...
thanks in advance,
