Wow, gorgeous! I love them all
A little bit preference for the first one.
Keep up the good work :)
thanks a lot, Roll on Moon!!! I'm really glad you like them. The first one's my favourite, too.

... and from the same place the view to the South (the high ones in the very back are the Dolomites - sky was really clear today)

I love these too! Really great handle on the exposure of the whites.

I really love number one too. These images are beautiful. I think just a bit of cropping could help out number three though. Take a bit off of the snow to accentuate a little bit of the sky. :)
Thanks a lot for your comments! Cropping the snow a bit is a good idea, *will do* :)
I've got a new one of not so untouched nature... and if I'm not too tired at the following weekends I want to take more "scars" shots in crowded skiing areas - I'm thinking of getting a collection of strong contrasts (untouched and radically altered/destroyd and "in-betweens" like this one).
Only problem is that I hate crowded skiing areas and find an excuse every weekend not to go to such a place :) good that it's still snowing, so I hope there'll be plenty of time left to get back to that.

Wow! Very nice pictures. I always love mountain and snow pictures. 1 & 4 are best IMO.

# 1,2,7 are freakin insane!
thank you so much for your kind words, guys!
I have some more now, there's still plenty of snow. :)
I've been to the Dolomites today, where you have a nice contrast between the beauty of nature and the uglyness of skiing areas.

I wish so much that i had something constructive to tell you about this work but in my opinion its ready to put in a book!
what lens do you use for this type work?
Thanks a lot!
I usually only take my lightest equipment with me, because the camera is heavy enough already - so that's either my 18-70 mm kit lens, which is not very fast (1:3,5-4,5), but usually fast enough, because the light is very strong in the mountains, exspecially when there is a lot of snow - or my 50 mm 1:1,8 lens.
The panoramas usually consist of 3-7 shots merged in photoshop, that way I have better image quality and am able to print them really large if I want to.
I often use a circular polarizing filter, but that depends on the situation - sometimes it's better without it, because the higher you get, the darker the blue of the sky is getting.

I love the last image mate. Inquisitive, but so Subtle. I can't wait to see more.

Great updates :)
Love mountain shots, there're quite peaceful.
I reckon the last three shots could be better in W&B, don't you?
thanks for your comments!
Roll on Moon - W&B= Black and white?
I have a new one (well a month old, but still)...

Roll on Moon - W&B= Black and white?
Oops, I switched the letters, sorry. Yea, I wanted to say black and white :).
The last shot is quite nice, I absolutely love the mood of this!
