Hmm, I guess this is the right place for this?

Okay, so I'm working on getting an internship with a studio in Atlanta. I wanted to know if any of you guys have advice on what I should include on my resume. I'm pretty sure that I need/want/absolutely must include a link to a website. So, I'm working on getting a "real" online gallery as well. They also want a headshot.

Any advice and tips are really appreciated, especially from those who already have experience in the industry.

I'll bump this thread as well, I'm trying to get with 1 of 2 people, both specialing in portraiture. Anything I(/we including myself with purplerose) can do to look like more than just some kid of the street?

In your resume... it's all about you. What you like to do, where you went to school, your past work experience, your qualifications, any community services you've done... all that sort of stuff. The portfolio is the main thing they'll look at though.
You want high quality prints of your best photos (not too many, not too few - 8 or 9). Make sure you give them a variety of shots - not all flowers, not all portraits, not all colour, not all B&W, etc... it's shows your versatility. It might be an idea to mount the photos onto some black card or something as well.

The website... can basically have as much in there as you want. The website is there so they can take a further look at your work, and maybe get an overall feel for your photos and your skills, what you seem to think works, all that stuff. Pack as much into that as possible so they have everything there laid out in front of them, ready to view.
BUT
Keep it organised. If you go to a website that has a variety of photos, generally they get sorted into categories of some description - this is very important. It shows your organisation skills and the dedication to your work. It might be an idea not to have just photos on it - have some info about the photos, or maybe another section completely for another graphic-based hobby you have, like photomanipulations or design.
Last of all, your website must reflect you. You need to like it, and it needs to look like your website.
