not a bad start, think it would be better with the framing shifted over to the right

cutting out most of the front face of the cupboards and getting the rest of your arm in on the forward recline

Nice shots Miyuki, the first is clever :) By the way, I was just wondering, where do you actually live? In your introduction thread I think you said America, on your DevArt Japan, and then you have a mixture of shots featuring Japanese and 'non-japanese' subjects (the train station is obviously Japan right?). Do you just move about a lot? :D

Don't worry i'm not stalking you, heh. Was just curious is all :) But yeah, nice shots. The first is my favourite :)

Actually I live in Japan....I might have said I'm from the US since I consider my home to be California. I go to an International School though and an extremely international church so I meet up with a lot of foreigners.

Your portraits have a great character to them, they're kind of contemplative. I really like it, keep shooting. And ditch DA for Flickr, the quality is consistently so much better :D

It's kind of funny though cause they never know I'm taking their picture XD. I just see people and if I think it would make a good picture...I snap away. I keep telling people my dream is to be in the paparazzi haha.

I like the high saturated/high contrast look of #10. Makes it interesting and surreal. Would crop a bit off the sides though.

Nice timing on #11. Maybe push the highlights a bit? What were they looking at??

They're more tired haha. Kids at my school get around 4 hours of sleep a night...freaking loads of homework.

I like the red/blue contrast in that one, but I think you could get a mysterious mood (if you want) by doing a tight vertical crop on the central part and playing around with it as a B/W.

Interesting color. You might want to tilt it a bit, but that could be hard to do without cutting the part at the top. Though you could add some white on top before rotating and cropping.

#12 is my fav. I like the angle you shot at, and the tones in the image...gives off kind of a warm/mellow mood. You have a lot of nice work! :)
