This was me trying out a technique I saw at the Imaging USA conference, its not sharp, I know, and I think the arm position makes it look a bit like the model is re-enacting Saturday night fever.. but I think it looks nice. Thoughts?

I like it. :) It could have a very slight boost in contrast, but it looks great right now. Besides the sharpness, I think there's a bit of grain. This would look pretty cool with varying poses and compositions though. Keep at it! :)

Yeah, it was in a hotel room, on the fly.. and my camera broke right afterwards.
(i put the card back in the camera wrong and one of the pins in the card reader got bent. only had the thing 2 months. Canon's repair service blew my socks off. there and back to me in under a week.)
unfortunately I don't have a place to do nudes at the moment. The studio i use is at school, so its gotta be g-rated and I live at home with the rents. So ill jot down all my ideas, and get what i can up here... well, i guess when I go out of town and stay in another hotel! =P

I was at Imaging USA and saw an image done the same way, in front of a hotel room window with the exposure set to expose for the subject. I loved the look, and the speaker told us how he did it. I wanted to try it. Very simple technique, but the whole point of the lecture was how to make a beautiful image with a very ordinary room.
It was alot of fun, and i really liked how it turned out. My friend and I took the photos back to the speaker the next day to show him. He was thrilled to see us trying things before we even left Florida.
That convention was awesome.

I like the hallway one, want to see it a little bigger though.
Love the mood of "Audra 3" but looks a bit too noisy.

You have a great eye for posing, lots of emotion in the female images. ISO settings and natural light? may be making the noise. if you use a studio use the most of the lights not the cameras computer. (im sure u know this) I need to see more pics ASAP!
