About the workshop
The ConceptArt.Org & Massive Black International Art and Design Workshop is a multi-day training event, designed by top professionals and educators in the fields of video games, toys, comic books, film, illustration, and Fine Art. This event draws students and professionals from around the globe and throughout the USA and Canada, who attend with the purpose of improving key creative skills, sharing ideas, and learning together under the guidance of world renown professional artists and designers.
Working and living as a professional creative or promising student can mean being isolated in a studio, office, or educational system where one’s work can stagnate, or plateau without the necessary outside input and inspiration required to thrive. Creatives have always found inspiration from surrounding themselves with others of equal or even greater talent. When imaginative people are kept in the routine of professional and student life, long term inspiration and the latest techniques and teachings are often hard to find.
The ConceptArt.Org Art
and Design Workshop was formed to be the stimulus creatives require to grow and learn at accelerated rates beyond what normal working and learning environments allow.
The volunteer instructors are here to help participants of all levels learn and improve in ways never thought possible and to apply those skills in the lucrative, booming entertainment industry and related fields. The workshop opens the doors to companies looking for quality talent with knowledge in the latest production techniques, and provides immediate opportunity for people who are ready to work in the fields of art and design. For those already in the industry, or companies looking to educate their teams in the latest idea development and creative techniques, this event
is an ideal solution.
Companies with employees attending will see immediate and long-term improvements in the creatives working on their important projects, and also have the option to recruit from hundreds of quality job seekers looking for great companies during the vibrant jobs fair.

We invite you to come learn with us and share in opportunity. Join us in Wellington this coming November 13-16th and change your life for the better. For more information, please visit www.conceptart.org/forums and click the workshop forums link.

ABOUT CONCEPTART.ORG
We are a web community of creatives whom are here for one purpose. We want to help each other learn about art, provide the best place to showcase work, further our art educations, improve the entertainment industry, and to meet other artists from around the world. We are a community funded from within and with the support of our sponsors and professionals on the site.
We have lofty goals. We want a place which we can all learn and share our work with the most affordable options for education possible. We want to improve the quality of art education on the internet. We do not believe that the information about art and design should be only for those who can afford the expensive private schools. We want to help those with talent, regardless of income or professional standing. We offer scholarships to a select few with need and talent, founded a school which won "Best Digital Art School in the World" from Imagine FX Magazine, and have held our training events all over the world. We will continue to reach toward our goal of being the best place to learn about art and design on the internet.
We also want to assist those who are ready for the employment world with that often difficult task. There are members and guests from nearly every professional company in the entertainment industry as members of our site. The list of studios who visit is long and impressive indeed. Whether it be the people at LucasFilm, ILM, Tippett Studios, Massive Black Inc, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Vivendi-Universal, Ubisoft, Blur, id, Flagship Studios, Blizzard Entertainment, Activision, and dozens more, there are some of the best people in the industry viewing and participating in our community. This is an elite group that is without elitism. You are as welcome here as anyone. We would not be here without everyone.
Please make yourself at home. Please share your talent or wisdom or information. Feel free to be inspired and to inspire others. We are all better off if we do that. We want you to be a part of the community as well. Join us for Art!
