Richard Solomon Interview - Episode 005September 28th, 2008Hello ConceptArt.Org, Recently I had the honor of interviewing the top artist representative working in the field of illustration and large scale mural work, Richard Solomon of http://www.richardsolomon.com/ We discussed a number of important issues artists face in the industry today and shared ideas on where things are headed in the future. In this DVD Peter Konig brings his 20 years of industry experience to the table as he shares his techniques for creating creature sculptures. Working from orthographic views Peter walks the viewer through the entire sculptural process from building the armature all the way to adding the final touches of detail. Also included is a tour of the artist’s studio and two mini-lessons focusing on different approaches to surface detail.
Marko Djurdjevic’s Character Ideation teaserJanuary 30th, 2008This is our very first podcast post, we are hoping to get some original content on here later after we figure out all the ins and out of podcasting. In this DVD, senior concept artist Marko Djurdjevic candidly shares his process of character development. He walks the viewer through a typical day for a designer of his caliber as he creates a post-apocalyptic gang comprising of four unique and stunning characters.
