I really want to improve, so i figured this is the best thing i could do. Not much to show but ill keep this updated often. Thanks and critique is very welcome.
This was a sketch that i decided to take further as i liked the piece. The helmet looks quite Helghast, which wasnt my intention just turned out that way. Id love some feedback as its still a wip as you can probably tell.
These were fun to do, playing around with some of m@'s brushes creating medievil characters.
Much needed practice with colour, im really bad with it..so yeh cool to do. Following a poopinmymouth tutorial for ears. Good stuff.
Thats all for now ill get some more up later, thanks for looking.

A little update, some silhouette practice and a couple of Hogarth studies. Need to do more of these.
Got life drawing classes later, so if my stuffs worth showing ill stick that up aswell.
Alrite chuck! Good to see you overcome your deamons. Keep working those studies. Shame none models have the same physic, lol. Start to push yourself more into, thinking about values and keep on experimenting too!

AK86-Cheers, will do!
Just a quick doodle, some obvious flaws but thought id post it anyway.
Heres some life drawings, probably the best of the bunch i did tonight. All between 10 and 20 mins, yeh i know im slow. Need to speed up and finish in future.
Hi there! Good start.
Personally im clueless about painting so I cant help you about that first WIP,but what I can say is ,mind the body proportions and anatomy. On few places the hands are bending strangly and it seems like the bone is broken or something.
Anyways keep up with the studies, you are on the right track!
Blaz- Thanks mate, yeh im pretty bad at hands. Need to do some studies of em hehe. Thanks for popping by!
Been abit ill today so ive not had such a good day art wise, but enough about that. Another doodle based on a deep sea fish, hope u dig.
A small update, couple of ref pieces from yesterday. Found the deep sea fish ref forum in the references section on the site. Really intresting specimins, wish id found it earlier. Really good exercise, enjoyed doing these alot. Really appreciate some comments.
Another fish study, an Anglerfish.
Those thumbs are very cool! And your creatures too!!!I want to see more!
DeJakhalz- Thank you, glad you like it.
Epias- Cheers! Ill try to in future, thanks for stopping by. Great sketchbook by the way.
Camara- Thanks! Ill do some more soon.
A few non ref pieces, trying to work from the mind more. Abit sloppy these, but i think they're worth showing. I promise ill post some colour stuff soo aswell, its looking abit grey in here.
Were are the others from your very productive day? I hope those gnomon dvds will help you out, even thou some of them are not directly accociated with your tastes.

AK86- Cheers matey, yeh theyre cool thanks! Some stuff was really unfinished in my eyes, so couldnt be bothered to post it.
I just applied to Bobby Chiu's digital painting course for August, im really looking forward to that. The course im studying at the moment teaches me barely nothing, so it should be a breath of fresh air.
Anyway, here's a quick doodle of an electric eel, non ref.
I could have sworn I posted in this.... o well, now I am
Very nice textures in these, but I think they come at the cost of form (looks like 2d textures and not 3d objects with texture) I'd suggest really breaking things down with planes, and describing the form basically first, then addin all that juicy texture on top.
Rhineville- Thanks man, yeh i need to watch my form when using the texture brushes. Its pretty easy to loose it when using them and it just becomes random. Ill be more careful in future. Thanks for popping by!
Never do environments, so i thought id give one a go. One day i will finish a paint, got bored of this tho. Meh.
Last nights life drawings.

Some ink doodles trying to get some intresting shapes and ideas. Might take one into photoshop and add some forms.
Just a quick crappy doodle, star wars inspired (lightsabre's a giveaway hehe).
Comments appreciated as always.
quick ship doodle.
hey,I love those ink and brush ones, keep doing them=] .Maybe do some more anatomy studies, remember what Rhineville said.
keep it up .
Pylon-Thanks! yeh, ill keep that in mind for sure. I go life drawing on wednesdays so hopefully that'll start paying off eventually. Im gonna go back to basics and paint solely with a round or chalk brush and paint. Then when i can paint well with them, move onto adding texture. Thanks for stopping by
More experimenting, trying out a different style.
Nice sketchbook I like the black and white digital pieces and thumbnails. They are good practice. And I like the diversity in your work.
Now the only thing left to do is practice anatomy as kovah said.
Keep drawing and having fun
I really like the silhouettes. I guess you just make a bunch of copies of one dude, and go crazy with it? Your creatures are cool too. However, I don't think you're paying enough attention to creating form with your rendering. You get a lot of nice texture in there, but it still looks flat. Practice rendering spheres, cubes, cylinders, etc., then apply what you learn to your figures and critters. It's all about the fundamentals.
I thought you have some really cool stuff here. Your coloring seems to be really on point. Great work regardless. Practice for us all is an understatement. I have come to the conclusion that the work is never good enough and I don't have 500 years to live so all I can do is do my best. Good luck and tight work. =)
