unbelievable mate, sooo much talent. Love to see your work in another five years. Thanks for sharing.
I see a good concept artist in the works. I never would have expected a <18 year old draw these.
algenpfledger thanks my friend
Hideyoshi haha thanks:p, maybe one day
lilnebo hohoho thanks, im not so happy with it
algenpfleger:p yeah right, what are you working towards right now? art school or employement?
Clodioz haha um maybe.
My57 yeah I kinda fucked up the face on that one, and yes feet are too small, thanks for the critiques
magezhilo haha wow man , thats quite a compliment, I'll try to drop by some time
misael haha thank you, but its not all about age
JailHouseRock haha thank you, I'll try to stop by some time, remind me again if I forget
SamC that one is all from imagination, and it kinda shows I'll keep updating
doncamthanks dude haha, I wonder where I will be in five years.
Well, really nothing to show, school has kept me busy, but I guess its better than nothing.
Nice work Miles - sorry this is just a quick comment but is it just me or does this last one have two right feet? She is leaning on the edge of something yes? Very cool though - the helmet reminds me of a cat with it's ears back <0.o>
Keep up the great progress

DanCthanks man, I wouldn't usually go about a character like that but I decided against rendering it, hence the heavy lines. Thanks for stopping by.
The Artisit haha yeah she does, my bad 0_0
MattGamer thanks man, I'll try to keep that in mind.
Well, been really frustrated with things recently, decided I just need to buckle down and study more. Tonight wasn't a good night to start, being my brothers birthday, but expect more frequent updates,
Just screwing around with this one.
got a kinda 'the walking dead' feel to it style wise, nice image. maybe put an image before and after, make a quick story? anyway, mate, your sketchbook kicks some serious behind, you're working your arse off by the looks o' things, and its paying off. great stuff.

Keep up the hard work and you'll go far =)
Nice! You should use that style in more of your black and whites (even though it's then not a black and white...) Glad to see more work, it will be awesome to see how much you get done when you leave school after the GSCEs.
wookiedabo thanks man, I'm glad to hear it
ReviseTheMethod haha thanks man, I liked how that one looked
SamC yeah it was fun to do, its good to mess around with different methods of doing things, that was just trying to emulate a kind of comic book badass feel. I can't wait to have more free time
Mokinizi thank you, it means a lot to hear that
Hmm, a wip for now, started it waaay to late last night around midnight and it had about 2 and a bit hours work. Another one and a bit this morning. When its finished I'll polish up the scan and stuff, but this will do for now.
Flaskpost thank you, I might finish it up sometime
Walid D haha, yep they sure are. I'll get to work on it, thanks
maeshanneits nice to see you saw the improvement
Okay, new W.I.P, I focus a lot better when I give myself pieces to work on, so lets just call this more portfolio work
Your worked has improved by er...Miles!? keep it up dood!
i like the design of the girl, and it seems like you've already given the painting a good lighting on the last update.
And, now, for the guy with the bat, again, your lighting, seems really good, but watch out for cilinder like limbs and other parts, like his shirt and jacket, but maybe it's just me , and the other thing is that, his right hand looks too stiff.
Dude, I admire you a lot, especially when it comes to character design, and
the way you seem to draw just too much, making you get better like crazy.
I'm almost 18, and you are waaaaaaay better than you were at my age, and you even have more experience than me!
If you have time, give my sketchbook a visit and tel me what you think miles
Nice job, Miles!
Can't believe that you're only 2 years older then me, and your art is like an adult to me!
damn man i really love the guy with the gun to his head, hes almost laughing at it.
that pencil of the chick is beaaatifullll. the movement is perfect. ( ...watch the sword...)
seriously man youre stuff is inspiring, your progress for your age, and work ethic is outstanding.
youll be working massive black when your out of school dude, keep it up
dude you're awesome!!! keep up the great work
Not too shabby in here mate, though some of the stances and some of the anatomical proportions are a little of. You should let the rendering and the shmancy colours take a break and go into some real hard core anatomy studies. Not only would this make your stuff look a lot better, but it would rid us of the little things that puts an otherwise awesome 5 star sketch down to a 3. So that is the structural part, when it comes to the textural, you are doing great. The lighting is good and dynamic, and even though I am no big fan of the plastecene school of rendering, I guess that is one of those things I am not allowed to correct on, since it is technicaly an element that falls under the "preferd style" category.
All this said, I gotta take into account that you are 15, and so, a genious, so don't fret about it, have fun, and keep it in the back of your head. Also, you don't have to make an excuse every time you don't deliver a huge stack of awesomecake, it is one of those things that Algenpflegler does enough to cover for the rest of the forum. No rant of him of course, just an observation.
SO keep rocking this stuff, keep being frisky and keep evolving!
markey2D thanks dude
hunchbackmacgee thanks haha, i hope so
SamC well, they are all done in pencil, but touched up in digital as the scanned can kind of rape the quality. I'll check out your sb again sometime soon.
lagreatman haha thanks 's back
Mischeviouslittleelf thank you very much man, so much good advice, and yes, the more and more I go into doing this boring plasticy rendering the more I wish I was learning to paint and draw more tradtionally. I feel its time I really get down to drawing more anatomy and working on structure as you said, it would greatly benefit my work. I also would love to work more towards painting straight into colour, it harbours much more satisfying results I find, and I would hate to just pass off a valid critique with, 'its my style'. so thank you very much for the sound advice, I really appriciate it. I plan to start experimenting more with oils and specifically anatomy, colour theory, and putting thought into every stroke.
Oh and yes I'll stop apoligising evertime its not so good I need to get over that ego of mine, its only slowing me down.
So today I finally finished that rainforest painting I posted ages back, just generally been tidied up all round and polished off. I'll take some pics Monday and post them. Today I have the sketch for my next final piece. The project is 'Metallic', so I've gone for the theme of reflections, it should be great fun to paint this on a huge board.
